Examination
Completion of the CCIE Routing and Switching curriculum requires the candidates to pass the following exams:
- CCIE Routing and Switching Written Exam
The written examination 350-001 CCIE v4.0 to gain eligibility to the lab exam.It is a two-hour exam which covers networking concepts and some equipment commands.
- Lab Exam:The CCIE lab exam is an eight-hour, hands-on exam which requires configuring and troubleshooting a series of complex networks to given specifications. CCIE R&S candidates will begin with the 2-hour Troubleshooting section, followed by a 6-hour Configuration section.
